Hi everyone!
Quick update on the Posse, they made it to Vegreville AB, Canada last night (or nearly there) when the alternator appears to have gone out on the truck. Praise the Lord, they were able to get to a motel and have a warm place to stay and sleep while they troubleshoot the issue. Benjamin asked if you would please pray that it IS the alternator. Apparently, there is one other thing that it could be, and that is a much more niche fix, which means they would be waiting a lot longer for parts (as well as being more costly).
While they are getting to the root of the issue, they have determined that there is an alternator at the local NAPA that would work in the truck, and if that is the case, the best-case scenario is that they could be back on the road by the end of the day!
Praise the Lord for his timing and provision as it is negative temperatures and snowy, so stranded along the road in the middle of nowhere was a very real possibility that He prevented!
Update:
They deduced that the alternator needed to be replaced, brought the truck to the auto parts store, and did the work. Once everything was put back together, the truck ran smoothly, and they were able to get back on the road. Praise the Lord for his provision in so many ways!
I’ve been told the snowstorm has passed, and they have clear blue skies and nice travel weather (though still very cold). At 4 pm, they were working their way around Edmonton, and all was still going well. (Thank you to my local retired trucker for the mileage update. I’ve been told they still have about 2,000 miles left. That puts them at just over halfway) Thank you for your prayers!

Final Update:
9:25 pm. They are 7 miles outside of Beaverlodge, AB, so they are quickly closing in on their last fuel stop for a while. Soon, they will be entering British Columbia and likely out of cell service more often than not as they travel through the Northern Canadian Rockies. Lord willing, we will have an update with more photos and good news tomorrow!
